Luciano – the soul of this project. He keeps childhood memories. He was the one who decided to get back to basics and move from the downland of Prato to the rolling hills of Val d'Orcia. All his life he has dedicated to working with yarns but he has never stopped pursuing his dream. Don't be surprised if you see him driving a tractor or tasting some wine or beer from a barrel feeling blessed while nobody is watching him.
Matteo – head and hands of Casagori. Authentic farmer with no frills and with corns on his hands. He loves working in the field, adores his animals and is crazy about his beer. Each day brings him a new idea and he never gives up to make it come true.
"I decided to give up many things with the intention of building a happy and healthy life in harmony with nature."
Alessio graduated from University of Florence at Enology and Viniculture. His graduate thesis was about vinification of Sangiovese in concrete tanks. After gaining experience in Tuscany (Caparsa, Riecine and Fattoria di Bacchereto) Alessio decided to expand horizons and spend a couple of years abroad. In New Zealand he worked at Clos Henri Vineyard, in Australia - at Deep Woods Estate in Margaret River region and then in Vosnè-Romanée, Burgundy – at Domaine Rion. If you don't find him in the vineyard, most likely he is somewhere riding his favourite bike.
